WEST VIRGINIA has again won two grants from the Verizon Foundation.
There were thirty five (35) submissions for 13 grants. Our chapter president
Geneva Templin has done it again. One grant is entitled A Vital Bridge For
Domestic Violence Victims. The second one is entitled First Step Financial
Literacy Through Technology. These programs will help domestic violence
victims learn how to handle a check book, etc. This will total $25,000 that
West Virginia has been award in Foundation Grants.
